Engineering Supervision and Quality Management for the Execution of Sewage Networks and Infrastructure in Al-Qurayyat City.
Supervision of Sewage Networks Execution – Al-Qurayyat

This project involves engineering supervision for the execution of sewage networks in Al-Qurayyat city, as part of vital infrastructure initiatives aimed at upgrading the efficiency of wastewater services, enhancing network reliability, and supporting current and future urban development within the city.
The project's scope focuses on monitoring the installation of sewage pipelines, manholes (inspection chambers), household connections, and lifting stations, alongside operational testing, road rehabilitation works, and close coordination with municipal and utility authorities. The project underscores the essential role of engineering supervision in technical quality control, minimizing field conflicts, and ensuring absolute compliance with approved blueprints and engineering specifications.
Scope of Work
- Supervising the execution of main sewage lines, manholes, and associated network connections.
- Monitoring network testing, commissioning operations, and maintaining continuous coordination with service providers and municipal authorities.
- Monitoring quality control, occupational safety, and road reinstatement/rehabilitation after completing construction works.
Al Marsad Al Makani provided a comprehensive supervisory role that encompassed tracking daily on-site execution activities, reviewing completed works against approved designs, and maintaining rigid quality control throughout the phases of excavation, pipe laying, structural installation, testing, and site reinstatement.
Furthermore, our role included extensive coordination among contractors, relevant government authorities, and utility providers, while strictly monitoring compliance with technical standards and site safety protocols, thereby ensuring an organized, seamless, and efficient network deployment that strengthens the city's overall infrastructure.
Services Provided in the Project
- Construction SupervisionMonitoring field operations across excavation, pipe laying, and installation sites, and ensuring that all execution metrics strictly comply with approved blueprints and technical standards.
- Infrastructure EngineeringReviewing technical engineering solutions related to network layouts, alignment paths, manholes, lifting stations, and domestic connections.
- Quality ControlInspecting workmanship quality across all execution phases and overseeing the necessary hydrostatic and technical testing to guarantee network integrity prior to commissioning.
- Project ManagementCoordinating work packages between contractors and stakeholders, tracking execution timelines, and rectifying technical observations throughout all work phases.
- Safety & ReinstatementEnforcing strict safety procedures at work zones and supervising the asphalt reinstatement and rehabilitation of roads and affected areas following pipeline installation.
