An advanced technical study to estimate silica ore reserves south of Jeddah in accordance with international standards.

Mineral Reserve Study and 3D Geological Modeling of Silica Ore for Al Mutlaq General Contracting Company

Al Marsad Al Makani conducted an integrated study for Al Mutlaq General Contracting Company south of Jeddah City, with the objective of evaluating the mineral reserves of silica ore and developing a three-dimensional geological model that illustrates the distribution and characteristics of the ore within the project area. The study focused on field data collection, exploration and drilling works, sampling, structural geology and tectonic analysis, as well as advanced laboratory testing to determine ore quality and assess its suitability for various industrial applications.

The study also included the development of a three-dimensional geological model of the mineralized formations and the estimation of mineral reserves in accordance with international standards such as the JORC Code, NI 43-101, and CIM. In addition, geological maps, cross-sections, and supporting technical reports were prepared. These deliverables helped determine the size and quality of the reserves with greater accuracy, support investment and development decisions, enhance the project’s market value, and provide well-organized technical data that supports compliance with the requirements of relevant authorities and investors.
