Examples of Environmental, Marine, and Environmental Assessment Projects

This portfolio includes a range of environmental and marine study projects in which Al Marsad Al Makani participated for various entities and developments across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The projects included studies of natural islands, coastal areas, and marine outfalls, as well as environmental studies for road and border-building projects in the Eastern Province and Najran Region.
The work was based on an integrated approach combining environmental and field surveys, analysis of natural environmental components, monitoring of air quality, noise, water, and soil, and assessment of land use and land cover. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing were also utilized to evaluate environmental risks, site vulnerability, and infrastructure exposure. The studies concluded with technical reports, recommendations, environmental impact mitigation measures, and support for project compliance requirements and the necessary environmental approvals.
